What a long trip

The trip started in Miami at 340pm on Thursday with a eight hour flight to Germany. We arrived in Frankfurt Germany at 630 am local time but about 10pm in on my biological clock.
After a ten hour flight from Franfurt I was in Bangkok.
Yep, those are gardens inside the Airport. Bangkok has the nicest airport you can find.
One more short 45 min flight on Saturday afternoon and I was in Khon Kaen, home for the next three months.

Getting Ready

To stay in Thailand for an extended period for work or education you must apply for a Visa and that means..mug shots..I mean passport photos. After a couple of trips to the Thai consulate in Coral Gables I had my student Visa and I was read to go.

Well except fiquring out how to pack clothes for three months into one suitcase :)
